Dr. David A. Brown

ODA President

Dr. David Brown is a distinguished orthodontist and alumnus of The University of Western Ontario, practising in Newmarket and Maple since 1989. He has dedicated decades to advancing organized dentistry, serving as President of the York Region Dental Society and representing the YRDS at General Council for two six-year terms. At the ODA, Dr. Brown chaired the Annual Spring Meeting Committee, the Political Action Committee, the Audit, Finance, and Risk Committee, and the Articles and Bylaws Sub-Committee. In 1996, he received an ODA Service Award for his contributions to the profession. He currently serves on the Government Dental Programs Working Group, the Human Resources and Compensation Committee, and the CDA General Assembly Representatives Committee. Dr. Brown has been a Board member since 2018.
